When Laura first joined Parkland USA, she found a growing but geographically-disjointed company with many different benefit and payroll systems.

Knowing we needed one national platform in the US to effectively scale, she led an intense team effort to create the strategy for one national 401k plan, comprehensive benefit package and payroll system. After that, she went to work meeting with vendors, selecting the best fits, finalizing contracts internally and implementing the systems with all employee data in a secure and safe manner, while communicating the new benefits to managers and employees, training the HR team and starting Open Enrollment. All in three months. Whew!

The national HR platform is still used today, for their 3,000 employees, more than seven years later.
